I have a B.A. in Translations Studies (German-Ukrainian), graduated from the Lwiw Iwan-Franko National University. Now I am studying intercultural communication and competence (M.A.) at Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany, what is helping me to deepen my knowledge in german language, culture and mentality. I have experience in translation from literary works, by the authors like Felicitas Hoppe, Christoph Ransmayr, etc. I am also interested in translation related to history. I translated articles on various issues, mainly in tha area of politics, economy, medicine, history, art, cooking, etc. I had a great experience with an ukrainian-polish firm BPO Nextdoor (theme of the articles was about cultivation, harvesting, processing, classification, preparation of tea etc.; translated for a tea selling company). I also made internship at Lviv branch М. S. Hrushevsky Institute of Ukrainian Archeography and Source Studies (translation of the certain parts of the treatise “Polen von der Ostsee bis zum Schwarzen Meer”). I had an amazing cooperation with famous ukrainian translator Wolodymyr Kamianets (literary translation of the work ‘Przemyśl – Ein mitteleuropäisches Lehrstück, Christoph Ransmayr; translation made for the anthology dedicated to World War I centenary “Galizien. Aus dem großen Krieg”. I am pretty flexible with respect to working hours. I will make all possible to exceed your expectations!
