Technical Artist (Kiev)
International Game Development Studio with offices in Ukraine, Germany, UK, USA, etc. currently focused on development of MMO shooter is looking for Technical Artist to join their ambitious, game-driven team.
Main Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience with Discreet 3dsmax, version control packages;
- 1+ years of experience in game development industry;
- Knowledge of complex character skinning and XML based assets setup for engine.
- Understanding of complex character skinning and rigging;
- Desire to develop high class computer games
- Responsible person with high self motivation;
- Fast adaptation to new technologies, troubleshooting;
- At least Intermediate English level (reading and writing of technical documents, higher skill is considered advantageous);
Main Responsibilities:
- Close cooperation with artists and R&D teams;
- Improvement and development of different pipelines for Character ART/Weapons/Environment;
- Troubleshoot asset-related technical issues;
- Writing and maintaining technical documentation;
- Conduct inspections and quick solving of art related technical features;
- Provide guidance and assistance where it will be required;
- Innovation towards all aspects of game production and development;
- Cooperation with other studio teams to achieve common project aims
